Plan Do Check Act

You map the energy flows at a certain point in time, identify the relevant energy aspects and subsequently take action. But what to do if a new building is opened? Or if the production process is significantly changed? Or if parts of the production process are subcontracted or sold?

As soon as significant changes occur, the AP must be modified. Modification of the AP is part of the PDCA cycle. It is part of the energy management system. The analysis of the energy consumption upon which the AP is based is therefore done more than once. This analysis must be performed regularly to keep insight up to date and to make new measures possible when changes have occurred. A good point in time is after reporting on the monitoring of the energy consumption within your organization.
