Training
You have
mapped out who is to do what. Now the time has come to determine whether the
relevant people have the skills and know-how to perform their newly-assigned
tasks. It would certainly be wise to talk with the head of personnel.

Supplementary
training can consist of vocational training courses that directly contribute to
the efficient use of energy, such as energy-efficient driving for chauffeurs.
But it can also consist of training programmes that
have an indirect effect, such as training courses for communicative, social and
organizational skills, or a project management course for the energy
coordinator.

With the
proper training, you provide the right know-how and skills to properly perform
the new task. It also makes the individual aware of changes in his daily tasks
and the importance being placed on energy management.
