Communication
Properly performed
work instructions will also contribute to your plans achieving the desired
results. Thus make sure your work instructions are clear. Explain them and
discuss the results you are expecting with the people who are directly
involved.
By seriously involving
the staff in the measures being taken and by giving them the opportunity to
make suggestions, you can easily generate support.

Give feedback
regularly and celebrate success with your staff. Give them the credit they
deserve. This will ensure that the eyes and ears in production will be attuned
to identifying irregularities and non-conformance. An attentive worker on the
job who is thinking with you and doing more than simply performing the work
instructions is worth his or her weight in gold!
