Communication
As in every
phase in the implementation of energy management, here, too, communication is extremely
important. During the ACT phase your organization responds to the outcome of
the measurements. This may mean that work instructions need more detailing or
that procedures need to change. Involve all of the relevant individuals in this
process. Indicate where modifications are needed and what results are expected.

Here, too, you
need to allow your staff to think with you about possible improvements and
modifications. Keep management well informed so that it is always clear what
the time, resources and manpower are being used for.
Failing to immediately achieve the objectives is not a failure. Look on the
positive side and search together with the others involved for possibilities
for adjusting measures so that the intended objective can be achieved.
