• Companies that have used the (Ex)BESS toolkit in the pilot phase, have reported savings on energy consumption varying between 1% and 7%!
• 95% of the respondents to the evaluation value the toolkit as useful, and 54% is going to continue using it in the future.

Expanding BESS started in September 2007 and is the sequel to BESS (Benchmarking and Energy Management Schemes for SMEs). SME sectors currently involved are food & drink, textile, laundries and breweries. Over 100 companies allready use the tools to improve their energy efficiency!
